International Journal of Indian Medicine

An International, peer reviewed, monthly Journal for publication of Researches in Indian System of Medicine particularly in AYUSH, Medical, Pharmacy and allied sciences, it is officially published online monthly on behalf of Ayurveda Research & Career Academy (ARCA). The full text of journal is accessible on website www.ijim.co.in. The journal allows free access (open access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. Started in March 2020, the journal has continuously contributed for the research, education and propagation for Indian Medicine as well as integrated allied medical sciences on the national as well as international platform.

Ayurveda Research & Career Academy

Ayurveda Research & Career Academy (ARCA) is founded pertaining to develop the skills required for research particularly in under graduate and post graduate students in the stream of Indian System of Medicine.(AYUSH) India has a large infrastructure in terms of Colleges, hospitals, institutions on Indian Medicine for teaching as well as clinical care. The scientific validation of various Ayurvedic, Sidhha and Unanai therapies mentioned in texts however, remains to be done on a wider scale. Ayurveda Research & Career Academy has created platform for the upcoming Ayurveda aspirants to encourage research work through active assistance with their team of experts. It also provides the appropriate information about future opportunities, upcoming important events in AYUSH and related field needed to the aspirants via this portal. Efforts have been also taken to provide all related information under one roof to every individual for career up gradation. Scope of the Journal

International Journal of Indian Medicine is devoted to the publication of original articles on the utilization of knowledge of Medical sciences, AYUSH i.e. Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy, Pharmacy. It also deals with clinical and pharmacological evaluation of herbs, minerals, metals and animal products, validation of food remedies, phytochemistry, ethnomedicine, survey of medicinal plants, nutraceuticals, drug standardization, biotechnology, agriculture, horticulture, pharmacovigilance etc. relating to medicinal plants.

International Journal of Indian Medicine also accepts standard review articles based on basic principles of Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicines, newly introduced diseases, epidemics diseases with their updated scientific knowledge in contemporary sciences. The International Journal of Indian Medicine journal will consider any original contribution that advances medical science or practice, or that educates the journal's readers. Manuscripts must be solely the work of the author(s) stated, must not have been previously or partially published elsewhere, and must not be under consideration by another journal.

All manuscripts contributed to International Journal of Indian Medicine are examined by the editorial staffs and all original articles are evaluated by peer reviewers assigned by the editors. The International Journal of Indian Medicine will publish online accepted peer reviewed manuscript within 4-5 weeks of time or as decided by editorial board within that time frame.

Review Policy

All submitted articles are read by the editorial staffs. To save time for authors and peer-reviewers, only those papers that seem most likely to meet our editorial criteria are sent for double blind review. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewers' advice Accept with or without editorial revisions or reject. We therefore ask that reviewers should be willing to provide follow-up advice as requested.
