"Rajonivrutti" signifies the end of a woman's reproductive phase and the end of her menstruation. It's the Ayurvedic term for menopause.In Ayurveda, Rajonivrutti is seen as a transition from the Madhyamavastha(middle age) to the Vrudhavastha (old age) As a woman periods, the ovaries gradationally produce lower estrogen and progesterone, leading to a drop in the product of menstrual fluid and ultimately, the conclusion of period. The imbalance of doshas during Rajonivrutti can manifest as colorful symptoms, including hot flushes, irregular ages, mood swings, sleep disturbances, and weight gain. While ultramodern drug frequently focuses on Hormone relief remedy (HRT), some studies have explored indispensable options like ayurvedic treatment for menopause. Ayurveda offers holistic approaches to managing Rajonivrutti, including salutary and life variations, herbal remedies (like Rasayana remedy), and practices like Panchakarma and Yoga.
